Israeli forces arrest 19 Palestinians, including senior Hamas official

Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 19 Palestinians, including senior Hamas political activist, during overnight raids across the West Bank, WAFA reported Monday quoting the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
Israeli forces reportedly arrested six Palestinians from Bethlehem area, four from Tulkarm, three from Ramallah, two from Jerusalem, and one each from Jenin, Hebron, and Qalqilia.

The detainees included a woman, identified as Tahani Jaber from Hebron, and a journalist from Qalqilia, identified as Ayoub Hassan.
Also, Israeli security forces arrested Rafat Nassif, a senior Hamas political figure, in the West Bank during an overnight operation. According to the Palestine Information Center, Nassif was a "prominent political activist" during the second intifada. He was recently released from prison after spending over a dozen years in Israeli jails.
