District Consultative Committee meeting held at Ganderbal

Ganderbal/ March,17: The District Consultative Committee meeting of Ganderbal District was held at Mini Secretariat.
Among others, the meeting was attended by officers of district administration and cluster heads of various financial institutions, besides representatives of Reserve Bank of India and NABARD.
During the meeting, credit plan of Rs. 58687.08 lakh was approved including Rs.
19936 lakh under priority sector and Rs. 19621 lakh under non priority sector. The meeting deliberated on seeding of telephone numbers and Aadhar numbers with the bank accounts, Financial Inclusion plan and Financial Inclusion fund for PoS terminals.
The meeting stressed both banks as well as sponsoring agencies to play their role in effective implementation of annual credit plan 2017-18 so that the people are benefited by these schemes.
